Welcome To The Hawkins Family Website

Hello Family:

Thank you for a fantastic turnout. I pray that everyone made it to their destination safely.

I am so proud of all of you. You showed up and showed out!! You pitched in whenever and wherever needed. And that’s what family is about. 

I was especially glad to meet Douglas Johnson and his family. When you look in Douglas’s face you see so many faces of past relatives: like Hillary Hawkins (uncle Brown), Pop(James), Joe etc.. Chicago had a new member Addie’s sister Gwen.

There was some new member added to the family Melissa’s Aria, Chantale’s  Avery . Tom’s Kimberly, Cindy’s Marvin and Cassandra’s Bryan. 

Great seeing Raymond and his family, Clarence, Michelle, and Jamie.

We were all over downtown Raleigh. 

Boy do we know how to hang out. If you didn’t have any plans; just go sit in the lobby and one or two or maybe a group heading out will come by. You can join them or they’ll join you.  It didn’t matter. 

Now it’s time to get ready for next reunion and I heard we have some takers. I heard Raymond would like to throw his hat in the ring for the DC, Richmond area. Chantal’s is giving some thought for the Charleston area. Also. I heard Savannah  or Atlanta was mentioned. all those who are interested in hosting  please tell why your location should be next. 

Get your request in as fast as possible so we can vote on it.

Speaking of voting please read Project 2025.

P.S. we missed seeing Tim and his family. David, Audra and her family. Tim’s Taylor. Jennifer, Janella, Javon, Minnie. Ras, Noah, Larneica and Nitema.
